Any tire can be made to last if you adjust your driving accordingly. The RS4 is certainly well-known for its slow wear under normal use, but if you drive like an asshole you can certainly run those down really fast.

I corded a set of R888Rs in two days because I was overdriving the car and not managing the understeer on the front axle. Bought another set, added sway bars, and changed my driving slightly and now they're only half-worn after 4 days.
