In this case the seller claims they were installed and pulled off an 2008 m3 at an Indy Shop during troubleshooting engine lights. They don't look sparkling new. So it's suspicious for them to be dated as far back as 2008. It seems more likely these were pulled off the car and new ones were left on.
I looked on eBay and only used ones are that far dated. New ones tend to be 2011 or 2012.
