If you look at the photo on my 1st post, you'll notice that these have the same weather seal to direct air as designed. The weather strips lined up to the oil cooler perfectly, which is same as OEM as far as cooling goes.

The difference is OEM gets destroyed so easily, when the felt pieces crack or punctured the oil cooling function deteriorates. These will not crack or get punctured.

I'm not doubting that OEM felt's hump creates more negative pressure which pulls even more air out, but when you hit a single debris on the highway the felt cracks or punctures which throw that nice idea out the window.

So far, no one reported oil cooling issues with these. In fact, I'm sure my oil temp will lower as my OEM felt was cracked and one the weather strips were missing causing air leakage.
