If you have the money, and the time, replace all subframe bushings, differential bushings, motor mounts and transmission mounts.
I'm guessing there is flex on your drivetrain at the higher rpms and that's keeping you "locked" into gear.
Dudes on here have stock clutch with 200,000+ miles, and 650+hp. Clutch on our cars are very stout....
