Even worse, a lot of manufacturers sell cars that look like an SUV, that don't even have 4WD, so they are just bloated estate cars (station wagons). Some are so ugly, it makes you want to throw up.

That is your opinion. Sales numbers don't support your hot take. BMW's performance SUVs are absolutely wonderful new age, swiss army knife vehicles. BMW offers plenty other M vehicles that should satisfy old school enthusiasts like you. |
Well, yes some of it is my opinion, some of it is fact.
E.g. weight and aerodynamics and worse fuel consumption. And being called Chelsea tractors. 🤪
And if I am "old school", I am proud of it.
