Up for sale is a mint condition, barely used Dinmann Carbon Fiber/Alcantara Steering Wheel. Like I've mentioned before, I've used it for a couple of months then I switched back to the leather steering wheel because the winters are cold here in Canada.
The steering wheel is a Genuine BMW Performance Steering Wheel that has been crafted into Carbon Fiber. DCT Version.
The stitching is immaculate, and the gloss finish of the carbon is perfect. No fading or random yellowing spots. It was $1619.00 new at the time of purchase, I chose to opt-out of the core charge so I did not have to send back my original leather steering wheel.
A big reason why I chose Dinmann over any other carbon wheel brands is that if you notice carefully the weaving of the Carbon is 1 direction from top to bottom.
Other brands I've seen are wavy on the flat bottom and don't follow 1 direction making the steering wheel look extremely cheap/busy looking.
I've replaced the Dinmann ///M Sticker with a genuine one from BMW found in the E36. It is a solid plastic sticker, which is extremely rare, and it is much clearer visually than the OEM sticker found on the E9x generation.
There is a slight imperfection, only on the steering wheel trim cover. There is a slight ding on the edge near the buttons on the top left side. You won't notice it at all, because the airbag covers that portion of the edge on the steering wheel trim. When I had purchased it, it was already like that. But it did not bother me, as the airbag covers that tiny corner.
