So new issue but I think we have already figured it out....
So the banking at Charlotte was awesome but was having weird electrical issues. The car would be fine on the banking but when it would go flat the car would die. Shut off completely like someone hit the kill switch. Checked everything connection wise and everything looked good. So tired it a few more times thinking it was a fluke but not so...Kept having the issue the rest of the day. At times was able to get a few good laps in but anytime I got high on the banking and flat again the car would cut off.
So after talking to multiple people that are much smarter than me, it seems to be an old battery that was "sloshing" the acid around and losing power. So if you have an old battery replace it.
Went with an Optima Yellow Top. Will try out Thursday at Road Atlanta.
