OP I suggest you take a look at an M3 or M4 CS. They're not expensive brand new right now and require few mods to be very fast. Basically camber plates and track pads and you're good to go.

The C7 Z06... I had a student at the Glen that was quite slow in the beginner group and even they were complaining about heat soak... no thank you
