For me it did not automatically enter carplay, although I still have everything apart in my car as I haven't had time to thoroughly test everything
and I did not see an EQ anywhere...will have to look for that if there is one

Haven't tried yet
Ideally I want this thing concealed but the vendor recommended somewhere UNDER the glovebox so there's better heat dissipation and signal.
