You can write (flash) altered calibration files yourself with relatively inexpensive tools like a KessV2 clone. If you don't want to invest the time to learn about the structure of these files and what to modify, just use this cheap, user-friendly app to modify the file for you:

Keep in mind that these alterations (the same as the ones in a tuner file) keep the CEL light from coming on by preventing ODBII readiness. Many states allow one flag to be not ready. So you pass inspection with Cat not ready as long as O2 sensor, sensor heater, evap etc are set.[/QUOTE]
