Getrag and BMW state that it destroyes the gearbox.
When early M's got and oil change at the 1.200 mile service with the wrong fluid (automatic gear is oil instead the pentosin), they replaced the whole thing.
I wonder how the gearbox would behave with the wrong fluid.
Do you have paperwork stating what was used?

Yeah 30k is nothing for these clutches. Double check fluid type is a good idea. Dealer filled mine with MT fluid, long story short ended with a new box and cooler. Pentosin and nothing else should go in.
