Yup. I have the 3.45. Absolutely no problems with downshifts or blips. The only bummer is that it threw my shift points off at my most frequent track (Chuckwalla) since I run out of gear a little sooner than before.
I should also note that I am running a 295/30-18 rear wheel/tire, so my rear wheel is about ~1" smaller than stock. This is amplifying the increase in FD by some margin, though exactly how much I can't say.
Based on my experience, I would steer clear of the 3.62. The only problem with the 3.45 is the gear sets are hard to come by. I got mine through Florian (DriftFlo).

I will have all three as soon as the intake comes in. I did the CF shaft and 3.45 diff at the same time and the acceleration out of the hole is dramatic. I was able to beat a stock Competition Pack F80 by a good margin from a dig (though, in fairness, he had 6MT and a passenger). I also held off a DCT E92 M3 with a tune and Akra GT4 from a roll no problem.
