It can be taken to the track, but like any other street tire, watch your pressures and alignment. There is anecdotal evidence that the sidewalls are a bit softer and more rounded than the old PSS.

It will be a downgrade from the AD08R. You can still get those in the 295/30R19 size from Tire Rack if that's all you need to replace.
