If you've changed them out to something like BE, then 10W60 is the preferred oil, BUT, there's still some concern over the MAIN bearings. Unfortunately, a handful of main bearings shown here show more wear than would be expected.

I just had BE bearings installed, and not sure what I'm going to run now. The mains are still a concern for me. I may run a mix of Mobil 1 0W40 and 15W50 with a little more 0W40.

I'd be interested in hearing what others have done after BE changes and if they have any concerns about the main bearings?

With the RBs failing at a single digit percentage and the mains as it seems with a few percentage of that, I'm much less concerned over them if at all. Been on 10W60 so far, plan to stay with that after new extra clearance RBs being put in. Obviously just my personal plan.
