I checked other differential from similar car - the same backlash. When I lubricate it by scrolling the gear, this knock dissapears. So it seems all is good.
Did you meet in practice that ring&pinion play was a reason of the clunking in rear subframe?
I don't know where I should find the reason. May be flywheel?
