Version 2.0 MPEs are distinguished by holes in the top and bottom of both canisters. The exhaust sounds perfect to my ear. It comes alive over 3k, and sounds subtly aggressive on start-up in a very satisfying manner. It does not detract from the beautiful induction noise the S65 produces.
Do not purchase this exhaust if you are looking for LOUD; you will be disappointed.
I hope to update this post in a year or two and provide an update on how the sound has changed and if any cracks emerge. The cracks are supposedly resolved with V2.0.
