There was a thread a few months back discussing the 94mm pulley upgrade. There are some mixed opinions out there on tuning, but I will say that based on my own research I would not use anything other than an ESS tune for an ESS kit. Now to be clear, I don't think there is any real danger in running someone else's tune. For me it's just a matter of peace of mind as well as principal based on history that many people disregard.

I just emailed ESS out of curiosity to see if they would provide a tune for a 94mm pulley. I suspect the answer in no as they would require the 7-rib belt system in order to provide the 650 tune, but we'll see what they say. Here's the thread I mentioned:
