I've been driving the F10 M5 non stop, and you really don't miss this car and it's characteristics until you get back into it.
Also another thing to note is that used kits put in another car technically could use a new bypass controller - as on initial startup it learns the positions of the throttle which can differ from car to car. The older kits didn't have a relearn procedure built into the firmware, whereas the newer ones do.
