The driver's view of the bulging hood and air vents, the mood lighting, the positioning of the various parts, knobs and buttons, the contrast of the red against carbon leather, and the sound make for a strangely involving experience.
The sound is a joy to hear. Where the E46 screeched, the E92 rumbles and roars. It's fairly louder stock than the E46 was. While I was there the dealership basically came to a standstill and everyone came to look at the car. In person it looks menacingly aggressive, particularly with the Gray/carbon roof combination. I brought my 8GB Flash Voyager along for the ride and blasted an old 2Pac song.  The stereo is exactly the same as the 08 M5 and thats to say it's incredibly clear and punchy.
It's a truly special car and I'll give a more in-depth review when I pick it up on Saturday. |
this last month is going to be hard waiting...saw a AW/FR @ the light by my house and I chatted with him and told him to punch it when the light turned green and it sounded great, I couldn't get the camera out to take video since it was in the back seat and light change as I was talking to him....Congrats again
