Tell me who you called and spoke to and I will call tomorrow and get one. I have ordered one from a vendor that said it was 041 and it still showed up 002. I called Bosch and they said no one has 041 anymore and they are the only remanufacturing / rebuilding company for they pump since the bought ZF so I gave up there.
I wouldn't be surprised if the BMW parts departments I called are just idiots, but I called Classic, Autobahn, bmw of Dallas, and bmw of Arlington and was told by all of them that it was 002 or nothing.
I would have happily ordered one up from Germany if they gave me that option. At this point whats another $700
