And the 3076R could do 1,000 WHP, but the turbo probably won't last very long at that boost level. You'd be much better off using a bigger turbo, like that the GT35R, and keeping it right in it's efficiency range, especially if you'd like to run different boost settings (i.e., low-boost for pump gas and high-boost for race gas/ethanol). Add in a well designed, twin-scroll manifold and you probably won't have much "lag" after 4k RPMs.
2-speed power glide and E85 sounds like it's a purpose built, high compression ratio engine that never is run on pump gas. That's not exactly a fair representation of that turbo's performance. |
