i keep reading about apex studs breaking, but i wonder if that is because lots of people are running them...
i have a set waiting to go on, but i'm not sure if i want to sell them and get some of those nice dry-lube turner studs. |
All this stud talk figured I'd chime in. Turners out of 75mm hex heads till Oct. I'll be waiting till then to order. The dry lube MSI are not hex though...

It works GREAT with an impact gun. I have used it for dozens and dozens of stud pulls. Super quick. And I put my studs on at like 40-50 ft lbs.

Yes it tightens right up but only used for extraction as it mangles the stud. For install you need to double nut. |
Picking one up to have in the bag @ any time if possible fault
