The problem is that the stud snaps off flush if you try to remove the nut, so there won't be any thread to install a new nut onto. They are installed at factory with loctite. They are not intended to be removed as the plenum cannot be split open anyway.
Best option is to take a new nut and some epoxy and glue the nut back into position.
