No you are right , same thing here...I noticed my S65 runs smoother with the BMW /// M TwinPower Turbo 10W-60 oil .
Engine warms up 20% faster ..
Agree .... even I had noticed the difference when Bmw switched from Castrol to shell ... I thought I was imagining things but a co-worker had similar impressions .... have noticed that it does warm up faster but it also runs a tad bit hotter at full operating temps ... not too much but the temp needle has shifted ever so marginally towards the warmer side when at operating temps
