I didn't think that way till I had my bearings done. I had 145K plus miles and my bearings were worn through 3 layers. I was informed that I was lucky and a kaboom was likely in the near future. I had no signs of issue. So why did I do it? I got a complimentary black stone analysis and the results was high lead detection (around 26 ppm).
