Just so I'm not confused- it's an electric hydraulic pump, and not electric powered steering, right?
So steering feels the same? How is the wiring setup?

Correct. Replaces the engine driven pump with an electric driven one. Steering should remain the same as your not replacing the rack. Wired I assume to a direct power source when engine is running I might run is as a switch.
