I did just change the oil right after the noise started and didn't see anything issues with the cap, used filter or in the bottom of the housing that I could see when doing the oil change... Nothing out of place....
Little stumped, anyone else had the noise or have any idea's?

Does this happen if the car is already warmed up?
The reason I ask is that most cars run in bypass mode when they are cold, meaning the oil filter is effectively not used. Might be the source of the noise. |
The oil filter is not bypassed when the car is cold. That would be a terrible design flaw.
There's a thermostat that keeps the cooler in bypass mode. There's a small amount of flow, but not much. Oil NEVER bypasses the filter.
