I take mine out once a month and knock it on the pavement to get all of the leaves and sand out of it...

You would be shocked to see the pile of sand and debris that comes out of it just by simply knocking it a few times; its a lot of shit! I can actually feel a slight improvement in acceleration after doing this, and a notable difference in the induction tone...

I have the Macht Schnell filter that sits in the factory air box, which has the same material that K&N uses...

I live on the beach so I have to do this often because of the sand...
