It can be modified if you are willing to do the 'tweaking' required. New pilot holes are required that are about 1.5" away from the E92 location. Also the bracket which is easily adjustable has to be moved 1.5" towards the exhaust. A little heat gun to the outer edges and corners with multiple test fits until you get a perfect fit. Then 3M and you can get a perfect fit.

The diffuser edge reflecting off itself on the black bumper makes it 'appear' as though there is a gap when there really isn't. The E92 has a small lip that the diffuser sits under, the E90 doesn't have this lip, but the Metak diffuser edge is rounded and textured finish so the transition will still look good.

No plans for a new E90 mold as the cost is $20k + and given the lower number of E90's in the wild it would be impossible to keep the cost down to that $200-$275 range.

I hope this helps. The diffuser is not prohibitively expensive, so if you're somewhat handy you can give it a try.....
