If you have the new 702/703 bearings (I assume those are what you just put in your car), nickel usually indicate rod bearing coating wear on the non-lead bearings, I'd keep an eye on that trend.

I switched to M1 0W40 when my car had 2700mi, did an UOA after 5500mi of usage, no nickel wear.
