i had something very similar happen to me a few months ago. i was driving on a highway and hit a slight bump which triggered a check engine/reduced power. my codes reflected a vacum leak and went away after restarting.

i think you may be on the right path that something got loose after the pothole. hopefully it wasn't harsh enough that the throttle bodies skipped a tooth on the gears?
