My car has 32K on it with oil changes every 5K always done by my BMW/Dealer in the book and always with 10W60 Castrol/EDGE .
Look...
I had a fresh oil change and drove the car about 1K miles , oil reader was up to about 90-95 % so just perfect .
Drove it after only 2 afternoons through the Belgian Ardennes..and my oil level reader was down to 50% !
So where is my oil ?
I'm almost sure that I have also a problem with my S65 because I just know when this bearing s@ckers starts to wear they just s@ck/burn all the oil because they run hotter because there is more friction !!!
Strange thing is it runs perfect ...No noises because I can hear them like no one else, but probably that will come soon!
The only thing I notice is that my S65 runs rougher when it's down to 50%...and planning another oil change within 3 weeks because it worries me to hear it running rough ....so only after about 2K miles !
And of course all BMW/Dealers say...A lot Oil consumption is normal and probably a black hole too !
