Resonators in the mid pipe are strategically placed to move the drone entirely out of the lower rpm range, and further up, so that you don't hear it. Take any oem exhaust, and remove only the resonators, and nothing else. Result? Drone at ~2,000rpm.

So as long as the OP still has his oem mid pipe, his car "won't drone". Or at least he won't ever hear it.
