THe case for thinner oil is made by the fact that almost every high performance car, including those far better than an M3, use thinner oil year round in any climate. If a goddamn GT3RS and Z06 can take 0w40, then so can an M3.
Freedom of speech? Man youre something else. No one is telling you to shut up or be quiet. But freedom of speech doesn't entail freedom from criticism. So you dont agree that clearance is the cause of engine problems? Great. So why don't you give us your alternate hypothesis?
