Regular guy had a great point with that "surveyed forum since 2007" with a join date of 2015 lol.
At first I didn't believe it...but I do agree there is a bearing wear issue. It seems to effect some cars worse than others but I haven't seen anyone pull thier bearings and have them look good. I plan to swap mine in a month, I'm interested to see what they look like.
There are cars in the 100k+ mile range still on original bearings so there shouldn't be mass hysteria... but people do need to be aware. This is definitly something that we as consumers should not be worried about with a company as well respected as BMW.
