Just adding a pan only increases the amount of fluid that is added to the system. The pan alone with cooling fins can decrease the transmission fluid temps, but over time the fluid will still become heat soaked. Our cooler is designed to work in conjunction with a core and pump. A core will give you that fresh air to oil cooling. This is the fastest way to dissipate heat from the DCT transmission.
