The Quick fit's were designed and DOT approved to work with OEM receptacles and safety mechanisms. The the primary OEM female receiver has a pyrotechnic seat belt pre tensioner that can trigger in the event of an accident and pulls the lap belt by 2". You must use and transfer that system from the OEM seat to the Sportster seat.
