I inquired about adding one year 'cpo wrap' on my 6 year 100K warranty which is expiring May of 2015. This one year add on (have 59K) was roughly $3.1K (retail of $3.75K). Steep..

Alternately, Fidelity (recommended by two seperate BMW SA's as they have had no issues getting claims from them) sells a Platinum package which includes bumper to bumper including suspension and electronics for $3.6K 3/36K miles.

Their power train package was circa $2.8K (not including steering, AC etc. but includes motor/drivetrain and diff). This is a sure shot for me next April when my warranty is about to run out. A 2/24K package was around $2K which is not bad either.

Anyone else toying with this idea? I am definately in on this. Feel free to share your findings on other warranty companies.

Malek, I am surprised you didnt opt for a dealer replacement under warranty given your car is a 2011?
