Of course a good part of the 1.12g skidpad is due to the car no doubt, but the PSC2 is supposed to be a good bit better than the old tire in both grip and wear. For now though, as you said, they seem to be 100% focused on OEMs for this tire. I actually doubt they will even release it in an 18" size for some reason.
