The transmission is the M DKG Drivelogic GS7D36SG according to the factory docs I have. For the standard M3 it lists the transmission as the GS6-53BZ or the GS7D36SG w/ 1 liter less oil than the GTS variant. Engine wise the bore is the same, but the stroke is 7.2mm more bringing displacement from 3999cm/3 to 4361cm/3 (S65B44M0 vs S65B40O0). 200kg less, and it appears that the GTS also may have a longer final drive ratio. What a great improvement to an already amazing car.

The actual difference is 6.8 mm. You were probably thinking of the original stroke size (75.2 mm) when you typed 7.2 mm difference. I do things like that all the time.
