Did you talk to a salesperson? Believe it or not...they aren't answering the phone in full race gear. Maybe than ONE guy didn't hear about it. Not saying that BW is infallible...I did buy PF FCABs for my E46 M3 which melted after I called back to tell them what happened...they knew about it. So much for testing EVERYTHING they sell but no one does.

With that, I'm SURE those backing plates were made for OEM rotors with are 30mm thick. Assuming the same centerline on the rotor, a 380mmx35mm rotor would reduce clearance by 2.5mm. Those backing plates have to be close to the back of the rotor to minimize air leakage. Otherwise you drastically reduce the cooling effect.
