I agree about the photography. I also agree, unless there is impact, or failure, no stopping. Once the car is at a stop, roll slowly up to the flag station (if there is one) or back on track (watching for traffic) no reason to stop completely unless there is impact. I tell my students all the time. "Two feet in". Car settles, are you ok, then lets slowly get back on track. This is a shame.

Did anyone find out root cause. Must have been a leak of some kind, somewhere. Grass catching fire causing that kind of damage? I don't think so. Possible fluid leak on brakes or injectors?
