test pipes give you gains at all engine speeds.
no way you're losing torque. something went way wrong if he did (ie exhaust leak, poor install)

you need a tune, don't go without one. It will remove CEL light you'll get and increase the gains you'll feel. Think +35-40 with test pipe & tune. Without a tune you're leaving a lot of gains on the table! It's at least 10 you're wasting and there are other benefits as well. It's $$$ but a must have. Test pipes & tune is really all you need to make this car awesome.

Get BPM's tune, you'll love it. I run BPM stage 2, turner test pipes & OEM exhaust. Excellent for daily driving, sound is great, little smell (only when cold really, goes away).
