Their excuse was that my car wasn't under warranty at the time. However I had engine related ticking noises/limp modes within my warranty which were directly related to my engine seizing. They didn't want to spend the $1000-$3000 for parts and labor to replace the rod bearings, so they rather have the engine seize when I am out of warranty and have me pay $25k for the whole engine.
