My M3 is a daily driver in slow ass traffic and I truly think there is no other replacement in it's price range now. The new M4 would be pricey and a long wait list. Personally, I prefer newer cars. But I have lost tremendous of cash on swapping cars in the past few years.

Why not,a tune is not the end of the world in $$$ !
You said you have DCT ,with a software upgrade this will be a huge difference,smoother,faster,and more powerfull shifts and the lag is history !
The engine tune(includes the latest 240E software)car pulles way better and runs smoother,and i can say my car consumes now - 1.8 liter/100km less.
So when your car is a daily driver,the costs of a tune are back in your wallet in less than a year.
Conclusion.............actualy the tune is for free !
