So evidently there is no real difference between the DCT and 6 MT performance steering wheels besides the holes in the back for the paddle shifters. I talked with one of the distributors on the board and they said that BMW raised the 6MT wheel price because they were selling more of them.

My question is; can I save $50 and order the DCT wheel and install it on my 6MT and the only impact would be a couple holes in the back where the DCT paddles would go? I wonder how noticeable it would be?
