+1. I usually put my go pro behind the driver's window on the outside. I've found that you need to about at least 1/3 of the way up the window or you get a nice shot of your side view. You can see your hands, head, and where you are on the track. I've learned a lot from watching my own videos.
And if I'm not sleepy, I'll be out cold after about 10 minutes of watching track videos.
