What should I do if I am being blackmailed with sextortion? Do scammers really publish your sextortion video if you don't pay or are they blackmailing you?

There are probably three threats of sextortion or extortion in general:
1) exposure that threatens your reputation
2) threats to your identity
3) threats to those you love

This is one of the easiest ways scammers use to extort people online. When I was googling for information about this I came across the website https://www.digitalforensics.com/blo...om-sextortion/ and it was my salvation since I didn't know how to deal with sextortion. Reporting it to the cyber police was useless.
