From my research it looks like KMP may be the way to go.

I have a heavily stripped vehicle and thinned harness but still have the clutch, DSC and m button buttons functioning.

Horn system is removed, no need for that.

Converted to electric power steering-I’d like to have the on/off or a two stage on/off button

Haven’t decided if I’ll keep wipers or not, motor and arms still in place but tank and system removed.

Flash to pass may be needed, but I’m a early novice into track driving.

I have an e92 m3 built as a competition time trial car and in progress of building another e92 m3 w2w car. I'm adding a combination oil pressure/temp sensor and would prefer to retain the dummy stock oil pressure switch. I'm struggling to find an oil distribution block that will fit the s65. Bimmerworld claims theirs will fit an s65 but I cannot figure out any way to install that block with room to connect the stock wiring hardness to the dummy switch without the water pump housing getting in the way. Reaching out to BW, they do not have direct experience installing it on an s65. Has anyone been able to fit the BW oil distribution switch successfully on an s65 while maintaining the dummy switch? Or has anyone found a different oil distribution block that will work? I also tried the rally road compact distribution block, but it is actually bigger than the BW one. The aktive autowerke one looks like it would certainly work but its sold out and excessively expensive. Also curious where folks decided to remote mount the sensor on an e90/e92?
Thanks!

This post is more out of curiosity than anything else. I'm seeing a lot of stuff on YouTube regarding this swap. I think the Bimmerworld guys use this trans on their 435 race car (factory). I'm trying to go full track car with my 6sp E92. While rowing the gears, and doing the heel/toe dance is enjoyable, the 6sp manual isn't great for track stuff. In comparison, the paddle shifted, 8 speed seems 'sublime'. I did a quick search and couldn't find anyone fitting this trans into our cars.
So yea, just thinking this might be a pretty legit swap.
