does anyone have any suggestions or a link on where to buy the tape? thanks
You can get the 3M tape at any auto parts store. I've seen them at my local Pepboys and Autozone.
Installed my OEM CF splitters yesterday and took this DIY as guide, thank you !
We followed this DIY last Saturday and got the splitters on in about 30 minutes. No trouble at all. I got them from JBSpeed, not OEM.
Does anyone have an electronic copy of the installation instructions?

Thanks
nm - instructions from OP were great. Took about 2 hours, but came out good. I agree with using some extra tape, so minimize some of the gaps.

Thanks guys
Thanks for the write-up! Some observations from my install:

- I drilled holes through the fascia and backing trim and threaded the screw straight in. I bought edge clips but didn't bother with them and the hold seems fine (with 3m tape of course)

- I bought mine used, so I'm not sure if this is a common issue. I had a couple millimeters of body color still visible behind the splitters upon installation - very noticeable on white.

My solution was to get some pinstriping tape (I had a graphite color on-hand) and tape the area behind the splitter.

Successfully closed up the gap!

Anybody else use iPad screen protectors on the bottom like OP? I held an iPad up to my splitters and it doesn't look large enough to cover the entire area. Assuming OP used 2 screen protectors per side?

Great DIY. About to get busy
Anyone know where to get just two of the front bumper hex screws to use for this? missing the two where the splitters will go and would rather not buy the entire parts kit from EAS if I need just the two hex screws.

what did you end up doing? dealership parts dept?

going to be installing front splitters
need to order tape
not going to drill an extra hole, will just use the existing 2 screws + tape

edit - so the splitters i ordered ... didn't need any screws
it actually did not reach the parts that have existing screws
so just installed with double sided 3m tape only

yep, went to a random dealership and they gave me a few bolts for free.
